As such, each year, the Point Fortin Borough Corporation awards remarkable persons who currently reside or previously resided within the Point Fortin Borough for their achievements and even contribution to the Borough. Therefore, at the Civic Reception and Awards Ceremony held every year without fail during the Borough Celebrations, these exceptional members of society are presented with an award for their contribution in one of the following fields: Sport, Education, Art, Culture, Music, Medicine, Music, Law & Order and Policing, Community Service and Business.
